Mary Beth Gorman used to be a masked vigilante… well she used to be a masked vigilante sidekick. But she and her mentor, Raptor, were the only super-heroes in the club who didn’t actually have any super powers.
Raptor died when Mary Beth was just a teenager, and she’s been trying to figure out how to get her life back on track ever since. Passing the time as a PI and college student, Mary Beth dreams of a better life, but how to get it when people from her former life as a Super-Hero just won’t leave her alone?
The Continuing Adventures of Talon is an episodic fiction story by Alan O.W. Barnes. A post-modern super hero story inspired by the work of Marvin Wolfman, Alan Moore, Peter David, Brad Meltzer and Brian Michael Bendis. It is a work in progress, and Alan may edit sections from time to time. Upon completion of each novella length story there will be physical copies/kindel book editions available from Amazon. There will also be a podiobook edition.
Just remember…you are reading this as I’m writing it. Once it is finished, I will remove it from this website (Though the eventual podiobook will still be here) and start the second volume.
